How was Fairy Fellowship Farm started?
Who we are
We are Adam and Karsten from the New Forest in Hampshire and Bavaria in Germany. A comment in 2015 sparked a discussion and inevitably lead us to Sherracombe. It was love at first sight. We have been here since May 2017.
What we do
We wanted to take more responsibly for our food and environment believing small individual acts can help the collective change. It's been a steep learning curve and also humbling experience to date. And we have a lot more to do and learn!
Our food
We believe that great tasting healthy meals start with rearing happy healthy animals.
On Exmoor we are able to enjoy the natural rhythms of nature. We have selected Native Aberdeen Angus Cross Cows and Rare Breed Britsh Lop Pigs. All our animals have freedom to graze and forage. We do not use chemical fertilisers and only use antibiotics when medically required.
As a small farm we only slaughter two to four times a year. Get on our mailing list not to miss out.
Our environment
We maintain very low stocking densities to help manage and improve the land. It also helps to provide a better balance with the wildlife around us.
